I shouldn’t have favorites, but there’s something about this doe! She’s the sweetest gentlest goat we have and is always so good…for me, but is aweful for anyone else to milk! She is always hard to get a picture of. She’s also AWEFUL to show- she dislikes strangers touching her udder, so it’s a rodeo! She freshened (with quints three years in a row- 15 kids in 3 years WOW!) & has a lovely udder with perfect teat placement & is a dream to milk. She’s also very dairy & is so long and deep bodied. I’ve retained her buckling from last year & doeling from this year. Urchin dislikes shows so much that when I started clipping & bathing for shows she got difficult to get into the milkroom for fear I might use the dreaded clippers on her & take her to a show. Rather then spend so much time chasing her around, I opted to dry her off. Of course being Urchin, she’s now wanting to be milked again
